Boca de la Soledad and Hull Canal

Feb 03, 2020 - National Geographic Sea Lion

Early morning, predawn, wet decks on Sea Lion

Remnants of last night’s rain

Pelicans feed on sardines

In the edge of darkness created by the bow lights

Forceful exhalations sound across the bahia

Signaling movements of the grey whale

A beacon blinks in the boca

Guiding the pangueros back to the pueblo

The sun rises

On a day well advanced
