We are in the midst of a long run from Greenland towards the southern end of Baffin Island, Canada. It is a bit grey today but with little winds and calm seas. It is a pleasant day to rest, catch up, and prepare for the days ahead. Out on deck, we can enjoy the sea and the birds. Inside, there are lectures, two of which are offered on either end of a sun deck barbecue, like a sandwich. We enjoy beer and steak sandwiches to celebrate the Canadian wilderness and just for fun. During the late afternoon and through the evening, we make our way up Frobisher Bay to the capital of Nunavut, Iqaluit, where we will clear customs and immigrations. We pass, of course, and we are on our way again!
