WANTED: For stone theft. Have you seen this bird? This security camera photo shows a penguin in the act of stealing nest stones from his/her neighbours at 6:18 p.m., 6:23 p.m., and again at 6:29 p.m. Note the guilty look on its face as it checks to see if the coast is clear before pilfering another precious piece of gravel. Attempts by witnesses at the scene to intervene were thwarted when the bird ran off into the colony, cleverly blending in with the crowd. Suspect is of short build, walks with a pronounced waddle, and has no obvious tattoos or scars. If you know the whereabouts of this feathered felon, please notify your nearest law enforcement ornithologist.
