Santa Cruz Island

Today I would rather write a few words. Sometimes silence is the best way to express respect and gratitude. And those are elements that our world very much needs. This picture of a land iguana of Santa Cruz Island, might be all what we call for today to remember that our planet is just a wonderful place, but also, a very delicate blue sphere. We must be respectful to it and to all the species living on it, with no exception. And as much as we need to be respectful, we should feel fortunate and grateful of inhabiting the only populated planet on the solar system, maybe one of the few in the whole Milky Way. We are privileged creatures, but sometimes we tend to forget.

Galapagos and its land iguanas, together with its trees, and cacti, and eagle rays and penguins and tortoises and bees, is a little corner of the earth where one still can respire peace and where one is given the occasion to remember how lucky we are.
