Genovesa Island
Love is not only intrinsic to humans, what we see in this picture is actually love; love is what we felt all day in Genovesa Island. It was the light, maybe the time of year, maybe the kind and tender people we have on board, but this was definitely an inspiring day when every one of us, I am sure, took a moment to think, or better to say, to feel life at its most.
In every corner of the island there was a sign of beauty, and love is beauty, therefore it was love in the sky, among tropic birds and boobies in flight, it was love in the blue water with Moorish idols and parrotfish and it was love on land, in the confusion and noise of male great frigate birds in full courtship display.
Our guests enjoyed different kinds of activities, from kayaking to deep water snorkeling, from climbing up steep steps to easy strolling along a coralline beach. Sitting down, we breathed the fresh and clean air, and we smiled at our new friends made this week. We thought about the past, the beloved ones, the future, the many more we’ll love. We are creatures with such a capacity to give and to love, and some of us cried, some of us laughed, some sat down quietly at the edge of the cliffs, and we were all feeling love.
