Bartolome and Santiago Islands
It is hard to say good-bye, but I am sure that for many of our visitors this will be a “see you soon”. Galápagos is going to be in the hearts of everyone of our guests for ever, and each and everyone of them, I am sure, will remember something different, but always special. Our walk in the morning was great, not only because of the amazing view of different kinds of geological features, but also because of the colors, the sand dunes, and the tracks of turtles on the beach. Snorkeling has been great this week, and today, both morning and afternoon, snorkeling outings were magnificent. Santiago was at its best. We enjoyed the tidal pool areas, the many sea lions on the beach, and the opportunity to think back about the great memories we are taking with us. Lava and tuff looked spectacular, and here I sat down and thought about the orcas we saw eating the mola on Tuesday, the sharks of Monday, and the many good friends I have made this week.
