We had a great end of the week here on Bartholomew Island. The island is famous because it has the most beautiful land escapes here in Galapagos and is showing on most of the famous movies around the world for its beauty.
This morning we climbed up to the top of this volcano and explored different formations of lava flows and lava tunnels. After breakfast, we disembarked in a golden color beach where our guests enjoyed the swimming, snorkeling, and glass bottom boat activities. At the end of the snorkel they were so exited because some of them ended up swimming with penguins. Where else in the world can you swim in transparent tropical water and encounter a penguin fishing right in front of you! It was outstanding!
Our younger guests also enjoyed the time on the beach building sand castles and watching the penguins and sea lions swimming in the shallow water.
We saw so much this week! Every one is carrying home so many good memories about the time here in this magic place, the Galápagos islands. From this enchanted island, the crew and the staff wish all of you a happy holiday! Cheers!
