Southwest Caye, Honduras

As the sun rose in the distance, our adventure began with the beautiful sunlight illuminating the easternmost side of South West Caye Island. Coconut palm trees and a coralline beach sent us a subliminal message inviting us to land in their “don’t forget me blue” waters.

We were promised a paradise-type island with unforgettable snorkeling among patches of coral and colorful fish. The promise of course, was perfectly delivered!

Most of our guests spent the entire morning swimming and snorkeling, taking advantage of the warm waters of the Caribbean. Others of us, instead decided as true explorers do, to stroll along the beach looking for invertebrates or checking under rocks and grasses to find whatever was hiding among them.

Everybody has their own unique way of enjoying their time. Some of us decided to pick up a chair, sit down and watch the blue waves splash on the shore, thinking, reading, or dreaming on how could life could get better than this…
