Corcovado National Park
Among the unique experiences that a naturalist or any nature loving human might have, is the chance to visit the Osa Peninsula. The day came with high expectations from our expedition members as we raised anchor and headed for the glassy waters of the bay of San Josesito.
In calm waters we descended to a tropical paradise worthy of admiration. Some of our guests went on a dynamic horse back riding on the pristine beaches of Rincon, were the sun and sand generated a sensation of freedom far from verbal description.
The day developed with a cool breeze and mild sunshine that favored the hiking on the different trails of the private reserve and adjacent areas.
In the afternoon we reached the Corcovado National Park, were the groups departed on their expeditions to discover the beauty of life found within the greenery of this magnificent forest. The blessing of life was always present with us as some people got the chance of seeing white lipped peccaries, howler monkeys, spider monkeys and crocodiles.
The fact that everything went without any hitches was evidence of the good karma generated by our expedition members. Life is good in this part of planet Earth, for this day filled the hearts of those who were willing to experience the gifts that life has to offer with an open mind and soul. Food for the soul!
