Today was our first day in Belize and we started off on the right foot! For our first stop we visited Moho Caye, this gorgeous little caye has one side with the typical paradisiac look with white sand and palm trees, but the rest of the island has native vegetation with lots of birds and giant green iguanas. The snorkeling in Moho Caye is outstanding as well.

We returned to National Geographic Quest for lunch and reposition of the ship to Laughing Bird National Park. Not only is this place a little piece of paradise, but as soon as you get in the water the quantity of soft and hard coral is spectacular.  During this visit, we were able to see many different fish like the damselfish, angelfish, stingray, and even nurse sharks.

A day in this amazing place would not be complete without kayaking and of course the opportunity to try the stand-up paddleboarding.
