Today we visited Santa Cruz Island, the second largest of the archipelago and the home of 25,000 people. We explored and learned all about the work that the Charles Darwin Research Station is doing to conserve the Galapagos.

During our visit to Puerto Ayora, our guests had the chance to get in touch with the culture of this island, to learn about the identity and the way of the locals.

In the afternoon, we went to explore the highlands to look for the Santa Cruz giant tortoise. We ended the day with an amazing conservation project that works to address plastic on the islands.
