One of the oldest and most easterly cities in North America, St. John’s blends small-town charm with a contemporary edge. Itinerary

Day 1 - St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada

Gather together in the afternoon for an introduction to the provincial capital of Newfoundland, St. John's. The focus is the cultural and natural history of Newfoundland and Labrador, including a visit to The Rooms Museum, perched just above the harbor and filled with exhibits that provide insights into the region. Later on, flexibility is the name of the game. Dinner is on your own to explore some of the many wonderful culinary traditions in the city at your own pace.

Day 2 - St. John's / Embark Ship

Venture out beyond the city center and experience the geology, landscapes and history of this region firsthand. Signal Hill, a National Historic Site, offers a look at the historical context of the harbor, maritime history and first transatlantic wireless signal. The Johnson Geo Center hosts a variety of exhibits delving into the geology of the region as well as the world at large. Finally, Cape Spear, the easternmost point of Canada, offers you the chance to stand "on the edge of the world" and visit the 19th-century lighthouse guarding its waters.
