The Latest in Expedition Travel
National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions is always looking for new ways to bring you closer to extraordinary places, remarkable wildlife and fascinating cultures. Our latest additions include in-depth explorations of iconic European rivers aboard two new state-of-the-art ships, immersive Alaska expeditions on board a new charter ship, expanded Arctic voyages, and the return of guest-favorite journeys in the South Pacific.
Europe by River: Introducing Connect and Evolve
The spring will see the debut of Connect, followed by her sister Evolve in 2027. These brand-new, 120-guest vessels will offer a fresh perspective on storied European rivers from the Rhine to the Danube.
Two inaugural Connect voyages—Rhine River: Castles, Culture and Culinary Delights and Holland and Belgium: Medieval History and Scenic Waterways—explore the continent’s cultural heartlands. When Evolve joins the fleet, she will host festive holiday voyages. Guests will have access to exclusive experiences, like a private orchestral performance in Bratislava or an after-hours exploration of Melk Abbey—all while enjoying seasonal menus, fine European wines and the timeless cheer of the continent’s renowned Christmas markets.

Venturing Deeper into Alaska
Beginning in 2027, the charter ship Greg Mortimer will sail in one of our most popular destinations: Southeast Alaska. Purpose-built to explore the polar regions, this 154-guest vessel brings that same intrepid spirit of adventure to Alaska’s glacier-carved waters. On board, guests will find an inviting atmosphere, with panoramic decks, a lecture theater for expert talks, and relaxed dining venues that foster the camaraderie of exploration.
Choose between two eight-day itineraries, or combine them for the ultimate Alaska voyage, which explores the forested fjords and wildlife-rich coves of the Inside Passage, as well as the remote and awe-inspiring Hubbard Glacier.
