Christina Thompson works at Harvard University, where she is the editor of the Harvard Review. She is also the author of two books on the Pacific: Come on Shore and We Will Kill and Eat You All, which was shortlisted for the 2009 Douglas Stewart Prize for Non-Fiction and the 2010 William Saroyan International Prize for Writing, and the forthcoming Sea People: The Puzzle of Polynesia.
A dual citizen of the U.S. and Australia, Christina has lived on both sides of the Pacific, as well as in Hawai’i, and has traveled widely in the islands. In 2015 she received a Public Scholar Award from the National Endowment for the Humanities for her work in Pacific history.
