Wyatt Walsh

Wyatt is excited to explore with everyone on this expedition. His background blends marine science, photography, wildlife guiding, and experience working on the water as both a captain and a naturalist. Before joining National Geographic Lindblad Expeditions, he spent several seasons leading whale watching and glacier tours out of Juneau, Alaska, navigating through the ice-filled fjords of Tracy Arm and sharing unforgettable moments with diverse wildlife and the vast beauty of Alaska.

Wyatt first joined in 2025 while working in the deck department, which sparked his love for the wild landscapes of Baja California Sur. He also worked in Monterey Bay, California, where he contributed to research projects studying and photographing killer whales and other marine mammals.

Fascinated by the ocean and the stories it holds, Wyatt has embraced photography as a favorite way to capture and share those stories—from the movement of ice and light to the energy of wildlife encounters. When not on expedition, he can usually be found behind a camera, fly fishing, or exploring new coastlines. Wyatt looks forward to sharing his knowledge about marine life, life at sea, or tips for capturing the perfect image in these incredible wild places.
