Arrive in Split and transfer to your hotel. Gather for a welcome reception before setting out on a guided walking tour of the city, exploring the atmospheric cellars and cathedral of Diocletian’s Palace. Later, sit down to dinner at a local restaurant. (D)
The day begins with a guided exploration of Salona, the once-thriving Roman capital of the province, where remarkably preserved ruins reveal the story of its imperial past. Continue into the Dalmatian hinterland to Stella Croatica, a beautiful estate surrounded by fragrant Mediterranean gardens and home to an olive museum. Join a hands-on cooking class and prepare a traditional local dish using fresh ingredients and aromatic herbs harvested from the garden, then sit down to a leisurely lunch in the estate’s inviting restaurant.
End the day in the UNESCO World Heritage-listed town of Trogir, strolling the winding stone streets of the old town to witness a remarkable blend of Romanesque and Renaissance architecture. (B,L,D)
Visit Krka National Park, a protected landscape of cascading waterfalls, emerald pools and lush river scenery. Stroll scenic boardwalks and forested paths as you take in the beauty of this remarkable river ecosystem, often likened to a storybook setting.
After lunch, continue to the historic coastal city of Zadar, a place shaped by centuries of romance, resilience and cultural exchange. Discover this rich past as you explore architectural and historical highlights, including the Museum of Ancient Glass. Here, you’ll have the chance to watch skilled artisans recreate ancient glass forms during a glassblowing demonstration.
Following the tour, transfer to the port to embark the ship. (B,L)
