Expedition Spotlight: Fjords of South Greenland

The landscape of South Greenland is dominated by stunning fjords, carved out over millions of years of glacial recession. Sailing through these winding, narrow inlets offers an incredible spectacle of iridescent icebergs, cracking sheets of ice, calving glaciers, and towering peaks. “What we all hope is that guests take with them an enriched understanding of this precious, valuable environment,” says naturalist Kevin Rattue. In this episode of Expedition Spotlight, he shares what makes these fjords so special and how our veteran crew navigates them aboard our state-of-the-art, polar fleet.
